Acoustic insulation with aluminum coating – sticking aluminum foil on the acoustic insulation creates an action that adds to the heat and cold insulation capabilities of the product.
Used to create a barrier from external layers and to create a vapor barrier, for example under a tiled ceiling or industrial roofs.
Also used for light construction. Glass wool is a common insulation material used as acoustic insulation between plaster partitions, improving acoustics above ceilings and as thermal insulation in tiled roofs.
The wool comes in rolls, in different thicknesses and different levels of density.
The higher the thickness and level of density – the better the insulation.
