The MIVNE company’s executive dining room, designed by architect Kfir Shaked, was designed as a representative hospitality space that combines a pleasant atmosphere, a contemporary design language and high functional performance.
The design emphasizes creating an inviting and pleasant space for management employees and guests, while incorporating acoustic solutions that contribute to the quality of stay and the comfort of daily use.
The project selected the Contour ceiling from ECOPET – an acoustic ceiling system made of recycled polyester (PET) tiles, which combines a unique design with advanced acoustic performance. The precise three-dimensional cuts create a rich play of light and shadow, so that the ceiling changes depending on the angle of view and the lighting in the space, transforming from a functional element into a central design element.
The space incorporates two Contour models – a wavy model and a square geometric model in shades of forest green and space gray, a combination that creates a rich visual rhythm and gives the space depth, interest and unique character. The transition between the patterns and shades highlights the different seating areas and contributes to a dynamic and meticulous design language.
The 60×60 cm ceiling panels are made from at least 80% recycled material, contain no adhesives or toxic materials, are safe to use, are extremely easy to install and maintain, and provide acoustic performance of up to NRC 0.85. The combination of sustainable material, high sound absorption, and advanced architectural design makes the system an ideal solution for offices, work spaces, hospitality areas, and public spaces.
The result is a modern, quiet, and inviting space, where acoustics and design naturally combine to create a quality user experience, while clearly expressing the architectural language of the project.
