This is probably the best insulation material you will find.

In an increasingly warm world and in an environment that is becoming more crowded and noisy, quality insulation creates an adequate, healthy, and economical living environment. Of all the materials, what should we choose?

Glass wool: high values and diverse uses

Glass wool, with its fibrous composition, effectively captures air movement, disperses temperature and sound waves uniformly. This makes the material powerful in its ability to provide a space with particularly high thermal and acoustic values among insulation materials.

Glass wool is considered one of the most efficient and environmentally friendly insulation products. Its excellent thermal properties increase energy efficiency, save on the need for additional energy, and reduce the environmental impact as a result.

Another advantage of glass wool is its ease of use. The material is lightweight and flexible, and therefore allows for relatively simple installation in a variety of spaces, from sloping roofs in single-family homes to insulating curtain walls in an office tower.

URSA’s “Terra” Series |

The Terra series, which means earth, was developed by URSA out of an ecological trend that encourages sustainable use of the earth’s resources.

The product is considered “green” throughout its entire life cycle: starting with its fibrous development that saves mass during transportation and saves unnecessary consumption, its production, which is done in an energy-efficient process, and finally its ability to be almost completely recycled. The material meets the highest green standards (BRE Green Guide Rating A+).

The fibrous development of this URSA product series allows for the creation of a low-density product that stands out for its high thermal and acoustic performance compared to glass wool products from other companies (thermal standard 0.034 W/mK -0.033 and A1 fire standard). The combination of high insulation properties with material savings makes it cost-effective even compared to other types of insulation materials, such as mineral wool. Beyond the environmental benefits, the low density that leads to savings in material also saves on the budget.

The water-repellent silicone fibers in the material make it suitable for use in complex projects in combination with curtain walls, “Alucobond”, HPL and cement boards. In such cases, we can use the glass wool as an insulation material for interior and exterior needs.
