The ALLIED CITIES office tower, located in the BIG FASHION Glilot complex, designed by Seter Architects, was designed as a contemporary office tower that combines an elegant architectural language with advanced execution solutions. The project emphasizes the creation of meticulous public spaces with clean lines, high accessibility to systems, and precise planning that gives each area of the building a unique character.
In the passageways on the tower floors, metal tray ceilings manufactured by Hecht & Ephraim were selected with a unique bronze finish, which gives the passageways a luxurious and warm appearance along with a sense of depth and elegance. The tray ceilings are manufactured in Israel and allow for full adjustment in length and width according to the project requirements, so that any architectural vision can be implemented while maintaining an efficient performance solution. The system offers ease of installation, simple disassembly for maintenance purposes, and full accessibility to the systems above the ceiling, making it an ideal solution for both the architect and the executing contractor.
In the hallways of the floors, an open Linear Grid (LG) ceiling manufactured by Hecht & Ephraim in black was incorporated, creating a bold linear rhythm and giving the space a modern, clean and architectural look. The system consists of 60×120 cm loose tiles, with 20×50 mm beams, which allow precise control of the ceiling density and its visual character. Along with the impressive visibility, the ceiling provides easy access to the technical systems and allows for simple maintenance throughout the life of the building.
In the restroom entrances, the same Linear Grid (LG) system was chosen, this time in white, which creates a bright, clean and minimalist feel. Using the same ceiling system in two different shades creates a uniform architectural language throughout the tower, while adapting the atmosphere and character to each area through the choice of color alone.
The combination of bronze-finished tray ceilings and black and white LG systems demonstrates how material interest and a cohesive design language can be created through functional ceiling solutions that combine design flexibility, ease of maintenance, and meticulous aesthetics at the highest level.
