Coffee Market Project – Designed by Architect Assaf Guy
In the new Coffee Market, designed by architect Assaf Guy, the design touches exactly on the point between meticulous functionality and modern, clean aesthetics.
The space conveys order, flow, and visual cleanliness, highlighting the finishing materials in a way that feels natural and effortless.
At the heart of the space, a white Expanded Mesh Hook-On ceiling was chosen, from Hecht & Efraim, a continuous-appearing metal ceiling system that creates a sense of depth, lightness, and natural airflow.
The Hook-On ceiling consists of mesh trays that are hiddenly suspended on top profiles, without visible connections.
The system allows easy access to maintenance infrastructure, maintains a uniform and elegant line, and provides a perfect solution for commercial spaces that require ongoing maintenance alongside meticulous design.
The Expanded Mesh, produced in a variety of openings and patterns, gives the ceiling a rich texture and a dynamic three-dimensional appearance, which changes with the lighting and angles in the space.
This results in a ceiling that is both a dominant design element and a precise engineering solution with high durability, ease of installation and excellent acoustic performance.
The result: a bright, clean and inviting space, where materiality, details and proportions combine to form a complete design language.
