New trends in design using metal ceilings

More and more designers and architects understand and appreciate the advantages of metal and use it as a “canvas” for original ideas. Metal is considered a durable and “green” material that maintains good air quality, and therefore becomes a “super-material” when it comes to planning a large-scale project.

In the following series of articles you will find interesting ideas for designing space using metal ceilings, we recommend following:

The first design trend: Festive Naturalness

This trend celebrates all the beauty that Mother Earth has to offer. Here we will talk about designing large public spaces through the extensive use of natural and renewable materials. In these spaces, the design lines express a close connection with the elements of nature and focus on the sense of wellness and personal well-being of those who are in them.

General interior design

There are many ways to transform busy spaces into a balanced space. We can introduce natural elements such as rich and diverse vegetation, wood textures scattered throughout the space, and natural stone cladding. Alongside these, we will add shades and shapes taken from nature to the celebration, such as lounge furniture upholstered in evergreen shades and spiral staircases. All of these make the industrial and alienated atmosphere become “domesticated” and warmer.

Natural light is an excellent means of deepening the pleasant feeling in the space. In this design trend, large parts of the space envelope will be dedicated to huge windows with a generous surface area to capture maximum light. A well-lit space feels larger and more spacious, which is important when we are talking about buildings where there is a density of people. The picture that emerges from combining these elements in various public buildings becomes new and completely different from what we have known so far.
