The acoustic suspended (or floating) ceiling has many advantages, including the diverse design options. We have collected three types of floating ceilings for you that will help design your space in a new shade:

Clean, but with a twist
The first ceiling embodies elegance, perhaps in the best way possible. Imagine opening a transparent Belgian door into a beautiful office space, with a white ceiling that reflects on the dark granite flooring and increases the feeling of the space a thousandfold. That white ceiling, which leans slightly towards the formal look, is the immortal element that often stars in modern-style spaces, despite its simplicity.
Nittobu’s Olympus tiles are floating, white acoustic tiles that offer a simple and good way to give the space the timeless white ceiling intended for it. One of the additional features of Nittobu’s “Twist” tiles is the possibility of producing them in different shapes such as circles, squares and rectangles. You can scatter the tiles in the space in different ways, create a game with the lighting fixtures and see how the ceiling “takes on” character and gains life and depth.
The high acoustic properties of the Nitovo tiles (NRC0.9-1.0) allow the style to be applied in a variety of spaces. Among these types of spaces, you can find use in work spaces such as service centers where focused acoustic treatment is required above the workstations, or alternatively in an open space or “open space” where we would like to create quiet corners for conversations. The visual advantages of the tiles in their white, clean and elegant appearance, combined with the interesting form that can be derived from them, allow the ceiling to be designed in a way that suits the design concept and emphasizes it.
Polyester (PET) suspended ceilingColor as a tool
Color has a great impact on the feeling of a space and how we experience it. A ventilation duct in an exposed ceiling painted in a striking color, for example, will immediately attract the eye and attention. AUTEX’s Horizon tiles, with their rich colors, work in the same way and turn color into a tool.
Horizon tiles are produced in a wide range of colors and can therefore work wonders and awaken the dormant in spaces. You can use the tiles as a “spot” of color, and combine them as blue floating circles that complement the sea seen from the restaurant windows. Another way is to use bolder colors, and choose rectangular tiles painted in orange that match their color with other elements in the space, such as the lighting fixtures or the shade of the furniture.
Horizon tiles are made of recycled polyester fibers (PET) that are woven together and create different shapes. The material is considered a “green” material, safe to use and environmentally friendly, and is therefore suitable for spaces with high traffic. The combination of this feature and the possibility of choosing an infinite variety of colors, allows it to be used in spaces that appeal to a diverse audience, from hospital and office corridors to children’s playrooms and school entrances.
Suspended metal ceilingGeometry at your fingertips
Unlike the previous options, the following tiles are characterized by a specific style that integrates with many design trends, so choosing them is very practical. The geometric style tiles are suitable for large spaces, and can cover the spaces of a spacious auditorium or sports hall with equal ease.
The dur-SOLO raft ceiling from Durlum is a metal ceiling whose tiles can be cut into different shapes and sizes. For example, a lecture hall that is designed in formal and monochromatic colors can be fitted with a ceiling with a complex composition that will add interest. In such a ceiling, the tiles will be cut into rectangles of different lengths that are densely placed, except for random areas where the square lighting fixtures and ventilation fixtures are integrated.
The Durlum metal ceiling provides extremely high functionality and resistance to fire, moisture and wear. The combination of its durability and the ability to customize the size and shape of each tile makes it an optimal choice for installation in public spaces that are full of activity, as spacious as you want. You can find the tiles cut into rectangles and parallel to light fixtures in a narrow ceiling, or scattered at large intervals above the seating area in a restaurant.
All types of ceilings mentioned are imported exclusively by Hecht&Efraim.
