The Technion Pool Cafeteria Project, designed by architect Merav Gelfman.
The Technion Pool Cafeteria was designed by architect Merav Gelfman, with the goal of creating a pleasant, inviting, and functional space that is suitable for both those exercising in the pool and visiting students.
One of the most prominent elements in the project is the METAL LP ceiling by Hecht Efraim, which was chosen in a warm wood tone that blends in harmony with the other finishing materials in the space.
The ceiling offers exceptional resistance to humidity, excellent acoustic performance, and an integral combination of lighting and sprinklers while maintaining a clean and precise appearance.
The system allows easy access to the infrastructure above it, with a unique unloading mechanism that does not require the tiles to be lowered to the floor, which prevents wear and damage and makes maintenance work easier over time.
The choice of METAL LP ceiling allowed the creation of an elegant, practical space tailored to the unique needs of the complex, while ensuring high-quality and long-lasting solutions.
