Acoustic cladding: a measure with design value

With the arrival of new materials, the way to provide acoustic treatment to interior spaces is more creative than ever. These are the features that make acoustic cladding a “paintbrush” for designers:

A “bouncy” shot of color
One of the biggest acoustic challenges in a project begins with dividing the space into sub-zones. The acoustic medium needs to be flexible in its design features, so that it fits into the existing style and the new space style – at the same time.

Autex’s polyester cladding, made of 100% recycled polyester, is particularly suitable for public spaces that need a “bouncy” shot of color, and for designers who want to incorporate a special form. With it, you can improve acoustics in various dynamic spaces: from framing a learning corner in a school foyer to separating a shared workspace from personal cubicles.

Asymmetric treatment

On the other side of the color scale, Woodfit wall coverings are available in natural and neutral wood tones. The uniqueness of the coverings lies in their ability to connect to the ceiling covering, thus creating a continuous acoustic system.

The system is suitable for buildings with challenging and “asymmetrical” acoustics in spaces that combine indoors and outdoors, such as a restaurant lounge that elegantly “spills” onto a patio. The acoustic technology integrated into the panels in an imperceptible way allows for the creation of a characteristic element that connects the spaces in a sophisticated and designed way.

Texture in seconds

Certain acoustic solutions become the “fingerprint” of a project, such as the Alusion series of claddings. The claddings, made of a foamed aluminum layer, are ideal for creating an accent wall that adds dimension, style and texture to a project in seconds.

One of the advantages of the “bubble” texture that characterizes Alusion is its exceptional durability. As such, it can be integrated into busy and bustling environments, from the entrance of a showroom to the cladding of a museum foyer – in a way that will incorporate a burst of creativity through just one wall.

Especially for “working” spaces

The last ones on the list are one of Hecht&Efraim’s “house products”, produced in the company’s metal factory. The metal tiles serve as a versatile tool: they can be engraved and perforated, cut with CNC in a free form and printed with any image, portrait or logo.

Their high durability makes them particularly suitable for public spaces that “work” and are active, and allow for meeting the acoustic need and combining it with a design wink.
