What are cornices? These are profiles made of grooved, bent plasterboard, etc. The profiles are made of plaster, and as such, they can be painted any color you want, and installed on a wall or ceiling. We recommend connecting cornices to ceilings or walls that are also made of plaster, so that the connection is precise and clean.
The designer’s vision can be in all kinds of styles, and cornices can be customized in almost any shape: they can be designed with a distressed look, an arched look, or alternatively in an elegant, clean and smooth design. In addition to the design composition they capture in the space, LED strips and concealed lighting fixtures can be integrated into the cornices.
Cornices have advantages beyond being aesthetic elements. First, the installation in the space. A cornice is a plaster insert that is manufactured as a single unit at the customer’s request, and is screwed onto dedicated metal rails to the wall or ceiling. The precise connection to the metal rails maintains the integrity of the wall or ceiling on which the cornices are installed, even after they are dismantled.

By installing cornices, you can hide technical components such as air conditioning system piping, wiring for sound systems and screens, or electrical cabinets.
